Internet Advertisements
Example 1:
On this internet advertisement they’re selling a cruise on the yahoo home page. This ad is clear and clean and is not busy. It also shows what I confer is an Alaskan mountains. So really I would say it is effective.
Example 2:

In this internet advertisement the ad is the women using a Blackberry phone. With the world choice in this ad I definitely may convince people to buy this phone. meaning that I would say this example of an ad is effective.

Banner Ads
Example 1:
This banner ad(s) are trying to sell you a trip to France. I’m not sure if theses are very effective. When I think about France I think about the “Stereotypical” french things. Such things as the Eiffel Tower. So these ads don’t really sell France to me. Also there is just a bunch going on in one banner.
Example 2:
In this banner ad(s) they are trying to sell and promote their food. I believe that this is effective. The banner itself is very clean and has just the right amount of information. Also more than ever people are trying to eat better so this ad could really get people to buy its product.
-
TV Ads
Example 1:
In this TV ad they’re trying to sell energizer batteries. In this ad’s time it was probably pretty effective. They have the cute factor in the ad by using the bunnies. However, it does give the viewer the allusion that the batteries are better than the rest.
Example 2:
In this TV ad they’re selling cat food. Using the cat can make it effective for cat owners. Using the cuteness factor of the cat may increase sales. Also owners want the best for their pets. So “knowing” that’s what their cat wants, they might buy.
-
Magazine Ad
Example 1:
In this ad they are trying to get you to buy some vitamin water. I personally don’t think it’s very effective. Nothing about this ad really makes me want to buy it. The ad itself is very plain and doesn’t stand out for me.
Example 2:
In this magazine ad they are trying to sale you some Nike shoes. I think more people who enjoy iron-man maybe more tempter the purchase these. So it is quite effective for anyone who enjoys Marvel. Plus for people who are easily pursued the words they have on this ad can really change your mind.
-
Newspaper Ad
Example 1:
This newspaper ad is conveying the message of a lost football helmet. Doing some research this ad is actually a joke. Written in the newspaper of Free Times North Carolina. It has to do with player who was tackler and his helmet flew off. However, if this was real I find it effective. I would definitely pay action to because of the red boarded and the big “MISSING”.

Example 2:

This Christmas Shoppers Drug Mart as is indicating the sale that will be going on. Personally, I don’t find this one too effective. Nothing pops out and makes me want to look at it. Kind of all just blends together. Also without taking a second look I wouldn’t be sure what they’re selling.
-
Billboard Ad
Example 1:
The message this billboard is trying to convey is trying to get people to become a vegan. It is obvious presented for kids, because it does have the word “kids” in bolded letters. I’m not sure that this board is very effective. I find it rather comical than something serious.
Example 2:
In this billboard it is drawing attention to people we deal with a stutter. It is quite cleverly done and has a solid purpose. I believe that is is effective. The three different billboards really make it understandable and gets the point across. It may make people stop and think and understand the difficulty of having a stutter.
